The off-grid lower level lodge has 5 bedrooms and sleeps a total of 14* people (note room configurations below). Two bathrooms, one with a shower.
Three rooms have a queen and single bed. One room has two single beds. One room has a queen and single bunk bed combination. Bring your sleeping bag, pillow and a towel. *Optional – for $30 per room (per stay) add on the bed linens and towel package which includes crisp cotton sheets, a comforter, pillow and towel.
Please note that the off-grid lodge goes into power saving mode and occasionally experiences power outages. Not to worry as the system will have power after a few minutes. Off-grid homes operate much differently than homes in the city. There may be times when the upper level and lower level are rented at the same time, separated by a locked secure door.
Items included in the kitchen: full size fridge with freezer, four burner gas cook top (no oven, no dishwasher), french press coffee maker and toaster, plates, cutlery and serving spoons, pots, pans, dishes, glassware and mugs. Barbeque available at the entranceway to the lower level lodge.
Limited supply of firewood for the large firepit area is supplied for free. Use of the lakeside traditional Finnish wood burning sauna is included.
$539 per night based on a minimum of four people.
$70 per night each additional person.
Fly fishing at $55 per day per person.
Two night minimum booking. Long weekends are a three night minimum.
